Why we start here

Your EP body assessment.
The foundation of everything.

Before we prescribe a single exercise, we need to understand your body properly. Your Exercise Physiologist conducts a comprehensive assessment that your trainers receive and use to personalise every session.

This isn't just a form. It's a clinical snapshot of where your body is right now - and the roadmap for where it needs to go.

  • Full health and medical activity history
  • Current exercise habits and lifestyle review
  • Strength and stability testing
  • Mobility and movement assessment
  • Blood pressure and grip strength
  • Personalised program and guidance for trainers
  • Do's and don'ts specific to your body

EP assessment notes go directly to your personal trainer. From your very first session, they know exactly what you need.

Body composition tracking

The Evolt Body Scan.
Know exactly what's changing.

The scales only tell you one number. The Evolt scan gives you the complete picture - muscle mass, body fat percentage, your metabolic rate, and a "bio age" score that reflects how your body is performing relative to your years.

This is how you track real progress - not just weight, but the composition of your body as it changes over time.

Muscle Mass

Track how much lean muscle you're building over time

Body Fat %

See changes in body composition that the scales miss

Metabolic Rate (BMR)

Understand how many calories your body burns at rest

Bio Age

Your internal health score compared to your chronological age

★★★★★

"I've made multiple attempts to start attending gyms throughout my life but have never been able to go more than 2-3 times before giving up. The sessions are short but highly effective, the groups are very small, and there's a personal trainer supervising and assisting everyone all the time. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs to exercise but doesn't know where or how to start."

Not at all. Our studios include members at every fitness level - beginners, people returning after years away, older adults, and people managing health conditions. Your trainer adapts every session to where you are, not where everyone else is.
That's exactly what the EP assessment is designed for. Your Exercise Physiologist will review your full health history, assess what your body can handle, and build a program around your specific situation. Your trainer will have all of that information before your first session.
No referral needed to book. However, if you have a chronic health condition, a GP Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan entitles you to Medicare rebates for up to 5 allied health visits per year - including the EP assessment. Ask your GP about this if relevant.
No lock-in contracts at all. Memberships are flexible - pause or cancel anytime. Members stay because the results are real, not because they're locked in. Our studios average 94–98% retention month on month.
In a normal gym you're on your own. At LTYB, a trainer guides every single session and adapts your workout to you personally. The EP assessment means your trainers know your full health picture from day one. 45 minutes. 8–12 people. No mirrors. No guesswork.
Just comfortable workout clothes and any health records or referral letters you have (optional - helpful but not required). We handle everything else.
Yes. Private health insurance extras (allied health) covers Exercise Physiology at most funds - bring your card and we process on the spot. Medicare rebates are available under a GP Chronic Disease Management plan. We confirm eligibility on the day.
The EP assessment is the best first step - it's a clinical session with no training obligation attached. From there, the L6 membership lets you try 6 sessions per month with no lock-in. Most people know within the first two sessions whether it's right for them.
Your LTYB trainer guides your group sessions - they know your health picture from the EP assessment and adapt every workout accordingly. Your Exercise Physiologist handles the clinical side - assessment, injury management, chronic condition programs, and medical-grade exercise prescription. They work as a team.
No joining fee. The EP assessment ($180) is the only upfront cost - and that's often covered by private health or Medicare. Your first membership payment starts when you're ready to train.

Ready to take the next step?

No obligation. No joining fee. Just 60 minutes to understand your body and build a plan that actually works for you.
